Gender Reform Action Plan (GRAP), Government of the Punjab in collaboration with Action-aid Pakistan organised a Capacity Building Training on “Gender Mainstreaming Techniques” in Social Welfare Training Institute, Township, Lahore. GARP Coordinator and the chief guest Asad Islam Mahni said uplift of women was the top priority of the Punjab government.
PU CLARIFIES: The Punjab University spokesman has clarified that the candidates for the position of the VC were recruited through a transparent process of the selection board that could not be questioned and the candidates had excellent academic career and were suitable for the jbo of PU VC.
