Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, while talking to journalists outside Punjab Assembly on Wednesday , said that he wanted to tell the target killers/extortionists in Karachi that army was a constitutional institution and could be engaged in any emergency.
He said PML-N was a protagonist of judiciary and was set to kick off protest if Supreme Court’s NRO verdicts were not implemented.
Earlier, PML-N President Nawaz Sharif had also expressed similar opinion saying his party would go for the option of military courts if it is required.

  1. thats not a big deal!!! if we have any options so we should better use it !!army is also part of the country if it helps in resolving cases then this should be ion favour of the nation and country !!

  2. Contempt of SC proceedings must be initiated immediately against Punjab law minister otherwise it will show biased attitudes by Chief Justice SC towards his cousin…………….

  3. Let us not take sides on this. The judicial system in Karachi has been paralyzed by an organized mafia and something has to be done. I don’t know if military courts is the answer but what other option do we have. The military courts cannot be paralyzed by this mafia as the courts will have the backing and protection of the army and perhaps this is what Nawaz Sharif means. Maybe they will work. The military courts are being proposed against organized crime, not political dissenters.
