Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif announced Rs 3 million as compensation for the aggrieved family of deceased Hadyara Police Station House Officer on Sunday. The CM, while talking to the media announced compensation for the aggrieved family and shared in their grief. He said the Punjab government would also the hire services of the deceased’s brother or son for the Punjab police, in order to compensate the family. He said the Punjab government would also bear the complete educational expenses of the deceased’s children. He said the deceased was a proud of Punjab Police, who had embraced martyrdom in the line of duty.
LEAVES FOR TURKEY: The CM has said that Turkey is a brotherly Islamic country of Pakistan and there are deep rooted historical and fraternal relations between the two countries. He said that his visit to Turkey will help strengthen bilateral ties and trade relations while talks will be held for expeditious implementation of the agreements reached between Turkey and Punjab He was talking to media at Allama Iqbal International Airport before his departure on a 4-day visit to Turkey. Chairman Lahore Transport Company Khawaja Ahmad Hasaan, Member Provincial Assembly Hafiz Muhammad Nauman and traders belonging to various sectors are also accompanying him on the visit.
