A man was gunned down and young woman injured over a domestic dispute in the Bin Qasim Town. Shah Lateef police station duty officer told Pakistan Today that a man named Fazal Mohammad shot his brother-in-law Mairaj Nabi and another relative Hashmat Bibi, , who had arrived in the city from Peshawar. Mairaj died on the spot while Hashmat was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where doctors said she was out of danger. The police are conducting raids to arrest Fazal Mohammad. Separately, police found the body of a young boy near the Lyari General Hospital.The identity of the victim could not be identified till the filing of this report. A man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Gulshan-e-Hadeed and while another man was gunned down in North Nazimabad.
The identities of both men could not be ascertained till the time this report was filed. In another case, the body of a young man identified as Kashif was found in a drain in Azam Basti. Police said the victim was killed two days ago.
FIRE: A four-year-old boy identified as Mohammad Siraj was killed in fire that erupted in a flat in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. The fire, believed to be caused by a short circuit, reduced the furniture at the Nawaz Sharif Scheme flat No 13 to ashes.
