The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources has accepted the demands of All Pakistan CNG Association and transporters and allowed CNG filling in commercial vehicles.
Petroleum Secretary Ejaz Chaudhry told media men that ban of filling CNG in the commercial vehicles including buses and wagons has been lifted for fifteen days while CNG supply to the vehicles has been started.
He said that government has not any plan to suspend CNG for next one month while according to gas load management schedule, CNG stations would remain close for three days in a week.
The Petroleum Secretary further said that a committee has been constituted to resolve the issue of gas infrastructure surcharge on CNG. He said that another committee has also been constituted to review the gas prices.
