CNG stations strike in Punjab

Commuters had to suffer due to shortage of public transport as all the CNG stations across Punjab remained closed on Sunday in protest against hike in gas price and load shedding.
Roads in different cities of Punjab presented a deserted look due to the absence of public transport. Movement of private vehicles also remained restricted due to the closure of CNG stations.
It should be mentioned that on call of CNG Association, CNG stations in most of cities of the province, including, Lahore, Faisalabad, Mianwali, Gujranwala, Rahimyar Khan and Rawalpindi stopped gas filling on Sunday.
Talking to the media, CNG Association President Gahays Paracha said that CNG price hike will not only affect the business but also deprive public of cheap fuel. He urged the authorities to review the gas price hike which was hurting both public and commercial activities.
