Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman said on Sunday that the war in Afghanistan is not about or against terrorism, but about political supremacy.
Addressing a public rally in Mardan, he said that the US is facing defeat in Pakistan and that Pakistan does not accept US supremacy.
Criticizing Imran Khan and his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Fazl stressed the need to avoid calling any movement a destructive phenomenon like ‘tsunami’. Furthermore, he called starting political parties rallies by songs ‘shameful’.
