Robbers kill two men in Bilal Colony

Robbers murdered two men in Bilal Colony on Friday when they tried to resist the robbery attempt.
The duty officer at the Quaidabad police station told Pakistan Today that the robbers shot Sher Ali, 24 and Samiullah, 28, and escaped.
They were rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where they both succumbed to their injuries.
Separately, unidentified assailants shot two men near Jubilee Cinema in the wee hours of Friday. Both men were rushed to the Civil Hospital Karachi where one of them identified as Ashraf succumbed to his injuries. The condition of the other was said to be out of danger.
In another incident, unidentified assailants shot dead Muhammad Arif, a resident of Chatta Gabool Goth, in the limits of the Gulshan-e-Maymar police station.
ROAD MISHAP: A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident near Shaheen Complex on Friday. The victim was identified as 25-year-old Noman.
ARRESTS: The Crime Investigation Department conducted a raid at a drug dealers’ den in Chanesar Goth and arrested a suspect, believed to be involved in the targeted killing of more than nine people.
The suspect was identified as Jamal Khaskheli. 
CID sources claimed that a torture cell was also found following the information obtained from the arrested man.
Separately, the Aziz Bhatti police arrested two policemen involved in more than 20 robberies.
The police said sub-inspector Azhar and head constable Mansoor were involved in robberies in Block 13-D of the Gulshan-e-Iqbal and were arrested after shopkeepers identified them.
