Three officers allegedly involved in massive financial irregularities in the Sindh Local Government (LG) Department have been suspended with the approval of Sindh LG Minister Agha Siraj Durrani.
According to an official handout, on the basis of an inquiry conducted by a LG senior officer, the department secretary placed the three 17- and 18- grade officers, Anwar Ali Baloch (Administration), Maqsood Badaruddin and Wali Muhammad Shah (Engineering), under suspension for misappropriation of an amount of Rs113.294 million. Further disciplinary action will be taken against them as per Efficiency and Discipline (E&D) Rules, besides forwarding the case to Anti-Corruption Establishment or National Accountability Bureau.
Take action against Mustafa Kamal who was handed over billions and billions of rupees for construction of rickety and ill designed flyovers. Why not audit CDGK.
