Rangers man among four gunned down

A Pakistan Rangers-Sindh official among four people was gunned down in separate parts of the metropolitan on Thursday. According to details, two Rangers personnel were attacked by unidentified armed persons in Arambagh police precincts. As a result, Sadiq Ameer, 40, died on the spot, whereas Madad Ali, 45, suffered serious bullet injuries. The deceased and the injured were shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi. Separately, unidentified armed motorcyclists targeted a Pashto-speaking man in the Baloch Colony police precincts. Police said two suspects intercepted Ghulam Mohiuddin in Mehmoodabad, near the Baloch Colony Flyover, and sprayed him with bullets. Mohiuddin was critically injured and shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate and Medical Centre where he succumbed to his injuries. In another incident, a security guard of a bungalow in North Nazimabad was gunned down. Police said that bungalow owner Muhammad Laeeq called them after he discovered Wajid Ali’s body. It is believed that unidentified motorcyclists had targeted the watchman. In yet another incident, brothers Abbas and Maula Madad were seriously wounded when unidentified miscreants opened fire on them in Surjani Town. The brothers were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where Abbas succumbed to his wounds.
