The Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir on Thursday expressed annoyance over the absence of Commerce Minister Amin Fahim from the committee meeting as he was supposed to brief the meeting on what made Pakistan declare India the most favoured nation. The committee met at the Parliament House with Fazlur Rehman in the chair.
Neither the minister nor any official from the Commerce Ministry attended the meeting which irked the committee members. It decided to write a protest note on the absence of the minister and wanted assurance that Fahim along with the secretary of the ministry would attend the next meeting.
