Bureaucracy reshuffled

The Punjab government promoted and reshuffled a number of bureaucrats across the province on Thursday. Fawad Hasan Fawad, Excise and Taxation Department secretary, has been promoted to BS-20 in that group and has been allowed to continue with his present place of posting.
Dr Arshad Mahmood, director general of the Punjab Institute of Language, Arts and Culture (PILAC), has been promoted to BS-20 in the same group and been allowed to continue with his present place of posting.
Capt (r) Muhammad Khurram Agha, commissioner of the Multan division, has also been promoted to BS-20 and allowed to continue at his present place of posting.
Muhammad Abdullah Khan Sumbal, secretary of special education department was appointed to BS-20 on acting charge basis and allowed to continue at his present place of posting.
Capt (r) Asadullah Khan, special Secretary of the Communication & Works Department, has been appointed to BS-20 on acting charge basis in that group and been allowed to continue at his present place of posting. Safdar Hussain, assistant commissioner of Narowal, has been transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD.
Ali Bajwa, section officer with the Communication & Works Department, government of Punjab, has been transferred and posted as Narowal assistant commissioner in place of Dr Safdar Hussain.
