Additional District and Sessions Judge (AD&SJ) Nadeem Shaukat was informed on Wednesday that an FIR has been registered against former chief minister Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa on application of Massal Khan, father of film actress Sapna Khan. Police told the AD&SJ that the FIR had not been made public because it was sealed.
The judge was hearing a petition filed by Misal Khan, father of model Sapna Khan, through his counsel Muhammad Azhar Siddique seeking directions for registration of a kidnap-cum-murder case against Khosa and his seven accomplices for allegedly kidnapping and later killing his daughter. Khan had pleaded that he was being harangued by the police under Khosa’s ‘instructions’ and no law whatsoever could restrain an applicant/petitioner from getting copy an FIR registered on his application. The court also summoned Racecourse SHO on the 29th to clarify why a copy of the FIR had not been given to the petitioner.
