In apparently another act of targeted killing, an elderly man was shot dead near Karachi’s Al Asif Square within the remits of Sachal Goth police station here on Wednesday, police said.
Officials said Shahzor, a 50-year old shopkeeper, was gunned down by unknown assailants early morning when he left home to open his shop in the area.
The victim’s dead body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed hospital where medics say the man received ten bullets in his body.
Ruling out any ethnic or sectarian target-killing motive, police cited personal enmity as reason behind the murder as heirs say he was in no enmity with anyone.
