Dozens of domestic consumers protested against gas outages and low pressure at the Bund Road on Tuesday.
The protesters, mostly women and children, chanted slogans against the non-availability of natural gas. They said that their routine life had been badly hit in the given situation, claiming that they had tried to contact officers in the Sui Gas Office but returned in sheer disappointment.
The people demanded the government frame a comprehensive gas policy under which the gas supply must be ensured to all the domestic consumers. The protesters also suggested halting mushroom growth of the CNG filling stations all over the country.
