Robbers lifted a car and stole valuables worth Rs 0.3 million from a house located situated in a street adjacent the Governor House in the Civil Lines Police Area on Monday. Unidentified robbers broke into the house of Arif Lateef, resident of house no 2-Kashmir Road, late on Sunday night and escaped after lifting a Honda Civic (registration number LXY-300) worth Rs 1 million. Robbers also stole valuables, including gold wrist watch, wallet, ID card, a credit card and mobile phone worth Rs 318,000.
Learning about the mishap, Arif Lateef informed police concerned, who arrived at the scene, collected circumstantial evidences and registered a case (nnumber 1156) and started investigations.
