GCU wins programming competition

The Government College University (GCU) Lahore has won the Brainiac 2011 Speed Programming Competition organised by the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore Al-Khawazmi Institute of Computer Sciences at the concluding day of the 5th International Conference on Open-Source Systems and Technologies. The Punjab University College of Information and Technology (PUCIT) came second in the competition. As many as 255 students from various institutions took part in the competition. The winning GCU team comprised Saqib Ali, Ajmal Ismail and Kiran Sarfraz.
