The Christian Salvation Army, affiliated with the global Universal Church, performed at the Hospitality Inn Saturday evening, as part of an event organised by the Hospitality Inn.
The Hospitality Inn hotel had organised the evening especially for their Christian customers, and said they had ensured that the evening would spread a sense of harmony and joy at the festival. Bilal Aslam told Pakistan Today that the event was meant to relate to every community, not just Christians.
Meanwhile, Major Samuel Tari, in-charge of the Salvation Army band consisting both young boys and girls, said they had about 36 parishes all over the country and carried out both spiritual and social work for Christian and other communities. They also helped flood victims in Khyber Pakhtunkhua and other parts of the country.
