Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani is scheduled to chair the first ever meeting of the federal cabinet in the provincial capital on Sunday. Although issues such as gas shortage in the country and devolution of subjects from the federal list to the provinces will be on the meeting’s agenda, burning political issues like the memo scandal and the civilian government’s strained relationship with the military are likely to dominate the meeting’s proceedings. The meeting will be held at the Governor’s House.
