Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif while extending Christmas felicitations to Christian community has said that the entire Pakistani nation shares the joys with their Christian brethren. He said all minorities living in Pakistan were patriotic and peaceful while the Christian community was rendering invaluable services for the development of Pakistan.
In his message on the eve of Christmas, the CM said the Punjab government was taking all possible steps for the welfare of the minorities. He said Sastay Christmas bazaars have been set up for Christian brethren on the occasion of Christmas.
Chaudharys greet Christians: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid President Shujaat Hussain extended heartiest greetings to Christians on Christmas. He said Jesus Christ had given a message of love, brotherhood and peace to human beings. He said Muslims also have faith in the prophethood of Jesus Christ and it was for the reason that believers of both faiths were integrated into eternal bonds of brotherhood.
Meanwhile, PML-Q central leader and senior federal minister Pervaiz Elahi, in his Christmas message said Muslims shared the great values preached by Jesus Christ and revered him as a prophet also.
