The federal government is likely to increase petroleum prices by Rs 5 per litre from January 1, sources in the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) said on Saturday. They said that in view of international prices, OGRA advised the government to increase oil prices. Sources said that no change was expected in the prices of kerosene oil.
