LHC moved against load-shedding in winter

An application was moved in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday, against electricity load-shedding in Punjab, questioning the uninterrupted supply of electricity to the VVIPs including the president, prime minister, governor, chief minister, ministers and others. The application was filed by Muhammad Azhar Siddique advocate, as a civil miscellaneous plea, in his pending petition on the matter. T He requested the court to seek report about how much electricity is consumed by the VVIPs and to obtain a schedule. He said that the uninterrupted supply of electricity to the VVIPs was a violation of the Article 25 of the Constitution.
