Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday strongly condemned the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership for criticising national institutions and said that for the first time in the history of Pakistan, a political leadership was targeting its own army.
The PML-N leader said that it was unfortunate that the rulers of the country were talking enemy’s language and that they were busy in strengthening the hands of foes through false allegations.
He further said that the statements delivered by the PPP leaders were meant to hurt the interests of the country. However, the people were fully aware of the maneuvers of the rulers and they would hold them accountable in every field, he added.

  1. The stance of the Prime Minster of Pakistan who is from People's Party (PPP) is no different from the adversaries of the state of Pakistan and is highly deplorable.

Maligning an institute of the state in a manner aligned with those who want a great harm to come to the state is an act of treason.

This is most abhorrent act and highly deplorable act.

  2. Faceless & nameless people continue to be the voice of deep state.
This country can only survive when parliament is supreme, nothing less ,nothing more than that.

    • 100% agree. its now public , the article written by altaf qureshi 4 naw-e-waqt, in which he tells us that former army chief, zia butt confirms it to him that under musharraf (when gen.kayani was ISI chief), brig. ijaz shah gave bin laden protection with musharaf's approval. it was later confirmed by gen zia on Dawn tv. WE r our own worst enemies. what on earth the world's top terrorist was doing in abottabad. who was protecting him and at what cost…? when will chief justice take suomotto notice on this matter of NATIONAL SECURITY…?

      • This matter should be probed on top priority. Compared to this, all other matters are trivial and of no consequence. Kayani must be sacked immediately and all residential plots, commercial plots and lands given to him by the people of Pakistan taken back. He should be tried for treason. Until & unless a General is punished for his crimes, Army will continue to behave like a state within a state.

  3. These corrupted rulers have destroyed each and every institution of country, and now want to destroy army through their performance, they can do every thing for the lust of power and for their rule. They want to do same things with army they have done with PIA,Railway and Steel Mills.

  4. What??? Strange to Hear That from Shahbaz Sharif!

Were not they (PML-N Leadership) slamming Pak Army after 2nd May, Mehran Base Attach and Salala Post Attack?

  5. Supreme law of the land is constitution. Those who has desecrated the constitution have no right to point fingers to other less violators. Although, this government has some great political achievements to its credit, yet no doubt, it has failed miserably to give good governance and have disappointed us deeply. But on the one hand, politicians have continuously been corrupted during military rules and on the other hand, country has been denied to establish mature political culture and fundamental institutions. Result is obvious. No body and no institution have right to derail civilian setup. Constitution should be kept supreme and then rule of law should be demanded from others.

  6. No one knows what the rulers of Pakistan want to do with their nation but one thing is clear that it is not easy to destroy the Pakistani Nation. These are the people who can survive in any circumstance. Even without law and order, without electricity and Natural Gas, Transport and proper Medication, but one day rulers have to answer what they did?
