Senior Vice President of PML (N) Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has said that he asked Nawaz Sharif to stand against President Zardari.
He was addressing at the death anniversary of Khawaja Rafiq. He said that entire opposition including Imran Khan should make efforts to save the country as Pakistan is surrounded by problems.
Javed Hashmi told the audiences that Mian Nawaz Sharif had said in the past that if Zardari would be made President, the nation would not forgive the political leadership of the country.
“I advise friends to keep distant from Asif Zardari”, he added by saying that it is astonishing that rulers themselves are talking about martial law. “Today the hot talk of the town is about removal of President from his post. There are great threats to democracy”, he said.
“It is the point of ponder that what we are leaving for our next generation”, he added
well this post doesnt seem inline with the news of him joining PTI.
The threat to join was an attempt to get what he wanted from the PML. Shame,one of only a handful of honest people in the PML.
