Punjab Education Department has announced that all educational institutions will remain closed for winter vacations for 11 days, starting December 23.
According to Punjab Education Department spokesperson, all public and private educational institutions across Punjab would remain closed from December 23 to January 02.
The spokesperson said that early winter vacations have been announced due to intense cold and dry weather.
It is worth mentioning that various educational institutions across the province lack heating arrangements, due to which students have to suffer from seasonal diseases such as cold, throat and chest diseases.
