Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Thursday submitted his reply, over Babar Awan and other ministers’ press conference after the Supreme Court hearing, through the Attorney General of Pakistan.
Sources said that the PM has assured the SC that the government respects the judiciary and its decisions.
He said that Babar Awan had only expressed party’s view in the press conference.
The Prime Minister said that the current government had restored the judiciary after coming in power. “The press conference was not organised to criticised the apex judiciary,” the PM told the court.
