Former actor Zahid Khan died Tuesday night at his Model Town residence.
Khan was well-known for a film career started in 1964 and spanning over 20 years. During his career he made over 70 films, some of which were huge hits, including Dou Aansoo, Anhoni, Mera Pyaar Meri Dosti and others. He acted with Firdous and Shahid Khan in many of his films. Most movies were released in Urdu, while he also made some Punjabi films.
Khan was a patient of diabetes, and was consequently suffering from severe paralysis. His funeral prayers were observed on Wednesday evening.
