Two children burnt to death in Peshawar fire

At least two children were burnt to death and five others injured when a fire, taht broke out due to gas leakage, engulfed a house, here on Wednesday.
According to rescue sources, a family hailing from Kohat and residing in Nothiya locality of Peshawar had lit a gas heater to keep themselves warm. During night the heater turned off after gas supply was stopped. Gas filled in the room after restoration of supply and caught fire when one of the family members lit match stick to turn on the heater on early Wednesday morning. That led to a massive explosion and fire and smoke engulfed the entire house.
As a result, two children were burnt to death, while five others, including women and children, received burn wounds.
The neighbours and rescue personnel extinguished the fire and shifted the bodies and injured to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH).
