Not only in Karachi, but dacoit gangs are also active in Lahore where millions were looted from a private bank on Wednesday, police said.
According to the details, some unknown armed robbers barged into a private bank situated in Lahore’s Green Town this afternoon. They held the bank’s staff hostage on gun point and looted cash which bank authorities said was worth millions of rupees.
According to reports, the dacoits also took along CCTV cameras and other recording system installed in the bank premises, and easily managed to flee the scene along with the booty.
Police said a bank security guard was injured when he tried to resist the armed men.
