The 1st Khawaja Samiud Din Weightlifting Gold Cup will be held on December 29 at Qila Gujjar Singh Police Lines Lahore. According to organising secretary Aqeel Javed Butt, international and national players of WAPDA, Railways, Police, Punjab and HEC will participate in the event being Organised by Police Sports Board.
Chairman reception committee is Khawaja Samiud Din, former international weightlifter and three times South Asian champion.
SP Headquarter Ather Waheed will inaugurate the event at 10 am while chief guest Malik Ahmad Raza Tahir, DIG CCPO Lahore will distribute medals and prizes at 3 pm.
