In order to promote religious harmony, a four-day photographic exhibition “Mosques in Germany” started on Monday at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).
The photographs show a collection of impressions on the theme of “Muslims and their houses of prayer in Germany”. The IIUI in collaboration with Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Pakistan organised the exhibition at the Central Library of the university. He added that his country had very strong friendly relations with eastern countries, especially Pakistan, adding that the Germans felt proud in saying that D. Allama Muhammad Iqbal did his PhD from their homeland. Prof Fateh said the beautiful mosques in Germany represented the wisdom and sincerity of the rulers of that country towards Islam and Muslims. He said unlike the other western countries, the German approach and policy towards Islam was always observed as unbiased and favorable.
