US responsible for terrorism in Pakistan: JI

Jamaat-e Islami (JI) amir Syed Munawwar Hassan has said that the US and NATO have not attacked the sovereignty of Pakistan for the first time but had also attacked the Mehran base and GHQ.
Addressing a public meeting here on Sunday, he said that Al-Qaeda or Taliban were not involved in these attacks but RAW, Mosad and CIA were responsible for it.
He said that the interest of America and Pakistan in the region is not the same as the US wants to make India the super power of Asia. He said that the US wants to weaken China and Iran
The government was about to take a U-turn and would restore NATO supply line. The government should not withdraw its decisions that were taken in regard to Pakistan sovereignty.
People should not accept government’s withdrawal policy, he urged and added that President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani were profile of a picture and the people would not take a sigh of relief it these two were allowed to stay in government.
Munawwar Hasan said that Pakistan is facing terrorism due to pro-US policies in Afghanistan, adding that if the Pakistan government ends the pro-US policies, 80 percent terrorism would automatically end from the country.
He said that PPP should constitute a medical board on Asif Ali Zardari to prepare a report which should be brought to the people. He said the prime minister does not accept the responsibility of ruining the national institutions like Pakistan Railways, PIA and Pakistan Steel Mills.
Regarding the memo case, the JI amir described it revolt against the country. He said that the case in the Supreme Court and after its decision, the apex court should also implement it.
Speaking on the occasion, JI former amir Qazi Hussain Ahmad said that people want change in the country. He said that Pakistan should sign defence agreements with China and Iran instead of United States. He also opposed friendship with India without resolving Kashmir dispute.
He said that if the NATO supply was not stopped permanently then the people from Khyber to Karachi would come on streets against the government. He said that the masses have become fed up with the policies of the government and they wanted change of system in the country.
He said that the government had created a situation in the country due to which the people started starving of hunger and poverty while the ruling elite lived with luxuries. People had been left with one choice that they should either sell out their children for bread and butter or commit a suicide.
The government had destroyed national institutions and those institutions that were responsible to curb corruption were also ruined with corruption.
Former senior minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and JI naib amir Sirajul Haq and JI provincial amir Professor Ibrahim also addressed the public meeting.
