Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) Member National Assembly (MNA) Hamza Shahbaz said on Saturday that the confusion within the government on the memogate scandal has led the people to believe there was a problem.
Talking to reporters after inspecting the repair and construction project at the Allama Iqbal Road, Hamza said that the people wanted to know the reality behind the memogate scandal, adding that the Supreme Court would reveal the truth.
He said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders’ statements proved that there was a problem, while the people await President Asif Ali Zardari’s to return and face the court. Hamza said that the PML-N had launched a movement to bring a new system according to the desires of the people, who, he added, were leading a miserable life due to inflation, unemployment and corruption. He said that the PML-N was organising public meetings and rallies as part of the movement. He revealed that a large public meeting would be held on December 31 in Gujranwala.
Answering a question, Hamza said that PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has fulfilled his national obligation by going to the Supreme Court on the issue of memogate.
He said that the popularity of the PML-N, PPP and the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) would be decided in the next elections.
Earlier, Hamza Shahbaz was briefed on the Allama Iqbal Road repair and construction project. Hamza said that the hurdles in completing the project from Crown Chowk to the Mayo Gardens were being removing, directing the concerned authorities to complete the project at the earliest. He said that final deadline of completion of the project will be announced within the next few days.

    • Fishy are those who are following the establishment agenda. PMLN is the only party that has the highest number of clean people. All lotas and corrupt are joining PPP and PTI

        • And has expensive leases in London where no British Prime Minister has ever been able to have an accommodation.

The British PMs pay a lot more tax than the chief of PML(N)
