Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to arrive in Karachi today (Monday) on a three-day visit to hold meetings with many political leaders.
Sharif is arriving in the city before Imran Khan’s public meeting on December 25 near Mazar-e-Quaid.
PML-N Sindh chief organiser Saleem Zia told Pakistan Today that Sharif will reach the city at 12:45 pm on flight PK-303.
He will have an important meeting with Baloch leader Sardar Attaullah Mengal at the latter’s residence in the Defence area.
Both leaders will discuss the current political situation of the country, especially that of Balochistan.
Sources said Sharif might talk with Mengal about the next set-up in the country and in Balochistan.
“Sharif is very optimistic about the outcome of the memo case in the apex court,” they said.
As Sharif would be in Karachi, PML-N Sindh leader Ghous Ali Shah has left for Islamabad and will be present at the apex court during the hearing of the memo case.
Sharif will also meet with different delegations of political workers. The sources said that some important personalities from Shaheed Benazirabad and Dadu districts are expected to join the PML-N during Sharif’s visit.
