A fire broke out in a flat in Wafaqi Colony and reduced valuables worth thousands of rupees to ashes on Saturday. The fire broke out in one of the FG flats in Wafaqi Colony due to short circuiting and spread quickly to two rooms. The flames burned valuables, including a fridge, computer and television, to ashes. The fire brigade reached the spot and managed extinguished the fire after valiant efforts.
