11 outlaws held, contrabands seized

The city police on Saturday claimed to have arrested 11 people, including two women, for their alleged involvement in theft and drug trafficking cases.
A police spokesman said that 4.3 kilogram hashish, a 12-bore gun and a 9 MM pistol were recovered from the accused.
He said that Golra police nabbed Shahida alias Shah Gila and Shazia alias Nazi from Saadat Colony and recovered 2.5kg hashish and 1.82kg hashish from them, respectively.
Sabzi Mandi police arrested a woman, Sikandar Bibi, and recovered stolen items worth Rs 100,000 from her. In another strike, Sabzi Mandi police stopped a car during their routine search and recovered a 12-bore gun, cartridges and a 9 MM pistol from four occupants of the car.
The car occupants were identified as Saqib, Ammar Khalid, Abu Bakar Hayat and Nauman Khalid. Further investigation is under way.
Meanwhile, Sub Inspector Hakim Khan from Aabpara police arrested three alleged thieves, Saeedur Rehman, Ismail and Aftab, and recovered stolen items worth Rs 365,000 from them.
