The Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) recorded the statements of two prosecution witnesses and of a man who had rented his house to the alleged assassins.

Rafaqat Hussain and seven other people are on trial for their alleged involvement in the twice-elected prime minister’s murder.
The court also issued summons to seven other witnesses of the prosecution and ordered them to appear before the court on December 24, the date set for the next hearing. ATC has, till now, recorded the statements of eight witnesses in the BB murder case.
Judge Raffique postponed the hearing of the application of Begum Sehba Musharraf, in which she had asked for the release of the confiscated property of her spouse, former President, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, who is also accused in the BB’s assassination case.
The judge deferred the hearing as the petitioner had already approached the Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench for the transfer of the case.
