Admissions of MS/M.Phil and PhD programmes of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) for spring semester 2012 are in progress simultaneously across the country.
Admission forms and prospectuses are available from the main campus of university as well as from its 36 regional campuses around the country, said AIOU Director Admissions Syed Zia-ul-Hasnain Naqvi.
Naqvi said passing NTS (general) for MS/M.Phil and NTS (subject) test for Ph.D programmes was compulsory. He added that as per policy of the Higher Education Commission, the admission of only those candidates who had already passed the NTS GAT (general) for MS/M.Phil and NTS GAT (subject) for PhD programmes.
