The Supreme Court (SC) should constitute a board to ascertain the facts regarding President Asif Zardari’s health conditions in order to end all rumours in this regard, proposed, Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rashid.
Addressing a press conference at a local hotel on Thursday, the AML chief declared that the govt had failed to quash the rumours regarding the president’s mysterious absence, adding that the SC should form a board to determine Zardari’s health conditions.
He added that the board, if constituted, should enquire into both, the mental and physical health conditions of Zardari, and inform the masses about the actual details. He remarked that the PPP-led govt itself had become a factory for churning out rumours, by giving vague accounts about the health of the president. Rashid said he would appear before the commission on the Abbotabad incident, adding that he would present proof to the commission on the issuance of visas to US nationals by Haqqani.
