Lahore Chatkhara and Sakuf defeated their rivals in the MMA Polo Cup 2011 on Wednesday here at the LPC ground. Shah Shamyl Alam with his goal scoring spree led Lahore Chatkhara to a 5-3 win over Olympia. Shamyl left all the riders of the rivals high and dry by scoring all the five goals with his own efforts. Abdul Rehman Monnoo, Ghulam Mustafa Monnoo and Raja Temur Nadeem scored the goals for Olympia but they struggled to get the required tally of goals. Meanwhile in the other match which tested the nerves of the riders, Sakuf moved past PICIC Insurance by 7-6. All the four players of Sakuf, Shaukat Ali Malik, Agha Murtaza Ali Khan, Mian Hussain Iftikhar and Muhammad Usman Malik combined to get seven goals against fighting PICIC Insurance.
