Federal Interior Minister Rahman Malik has disclosed that all the conspiring elements and those involved in murder of Benazir Bhutto have been apprehended and would be exposed at appropriate time.
Addressing an event in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said that the case was also pending in courts, while exposure of those involved was being curtailed by leadership for security reasons.
The interior minister also informed that steps were being taken for the security of journalists, while a joint committee has also been formed to investigate the murder of three journalists.
He highlighted the importance of media in present times and assured that government was taking all necessary steps for ensuring the security of journalists.
Referring to the Balochistan situation, he said that government was fully aware of all the sources and operatives involved in militancy and sabotage in the Province, and assured that their nefarious designs would also be foiled.
He said that Afghan border was also a constant source of infiltration into Balochistan, and the issue had been raised twice with the Afghan government, stressing that Afghan President should ensure that these infiltrations should cease forthwith.
