Former Punjab CM Dost Khosa’s counsel Zubair Khalid Chaudhry twisted actress Sapna Khan’s alleged kidnapping and murder case on Monday when he claimed in court that petitioner Missal Khan was not the real father of Sapna. The counsel said that Shahid, who was the driver of Dost, told them that the man, who was appearing in court, was not Sapna’s real father. The court, after being informed, directed the Racecourse Police Station SHO to record the statement of Missal to determine whether he was the father of Sapna and submit a report by December 14. During the proceedings, the judge directed the SHO to record the statement of the petitioner but the SHO did not bother to record his statement. Afterwards, the petitioner filed a contempt of court petition in which the judge sought comments from the SHO.
On Monday, the SHO Racecourse submitted a report in court that officials visited Missal’s house but a woman informed them that Missal was not at home. The SHO said that the woman was told to inform Missal to visit the police station but he did not bother to come. After the hearing, harsh comments were exchanged between Shahid and Sapna’s brother outside the court. Shahid remained adamant that Missal was not the real father of Sapna, as he had once asked her about him and she told him that Missal was her uncle. But Sapna’s brother continued crying saying that Dost and his henchmen kidnapped his sister and killed her and he will not forgive the blood of his sister.
CASE AGAINST VEENA: Additional District and Sessions Judge Tahir Khan Niazi sought reply from the Defence-B SHO until December 19 on a petition filed by Advocate Chaudhry Ishtiaq seeking registration of criminal case against actress Veena Malik. Ishtiaq submitted that Veena willingly posed naked in a photo session with a tattoo of ISI on her forearm, which was published in an Indian magazine. The petitioner submitted that Veena’s act had not only lowered the dignity of the whole nation but even insulted the army. The petitioner requested the court to order registration of a criminal case against Veena. In another case against the actress, the Allama Iqbal Town Police submitted a report in court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Rana Zahid Iqbal on a petition filed by Advocate Syed Mazhar seeking registration of case against Veena for posing nude for FHM Magazine. Police submitted that petitioner should file the case in India, as neither the photo shoot was done nor the FHM Magazine was printed within the jurisdiction of the Allama Iqbal Town Police Station. The case will be next heard on December 16.
