The Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has demanded a formal apology from NATO for the attack on Pakistani army’s check-posts in Mohmand Agency that killed 24 soldiers.
The party’s patron in-charge in the US, Ibadur Rehman put forward this demand while talking to the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff of the US armed forces at a forum convened by the Atlantic Council in Washington DC.
Scholars and representatives of various think-tanks and nongovernmental organisations were also present at the forum.
Rehman said that even though the Obama administration and the defence officials of the US and the NATO have expressed regrets over the attack on Pakistani forces, no formal apology was made. It was also being said that an investigation is under way but they has not been completed yet.
General Dempsey shed light on the various aspects of relations between Pakistan and US and the current situation while speaking at the forum. He said that the attack on the Pakistani post was not planned and premeditated. He assured the audience that a probe into the attack is continuing and it would be completed soon.

  1. I am shocked to see such a good response once again only from MQM, In fact if i go throw history of MQM they took only solid step and never try to create hoax.
On the other hand right wing political parties including Imran Khan's PTI came with nothing solid. but there are news that Imran met with officials of state department. Did he do some thing SOLID there for PAKISTAN?
