Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Saturday directed the Public Works Department (PWD) and the National Engineering Services Pakistan Private Limited (NESPAK) to complete the construction work of the Federal Judicial Academy (FJA) Project Phase-II in time without compromising on the quality. The CJP was speaking at his visit to the FJA construction site where he was briefed about various aspects of the project, including the pace of the construction work that is to be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 92 million. The CJP pointed out certain technical flaws while inspecting the construction map, architectural design and quality of the construction material being used. He directed the PAK PWD and NESPAK officials to correct the flaws and complete the work without compromising on quality.
FJA In-charge Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, FJA Director General Parvaiz Ali Chawla and the faculty members of the FJA were also present on the occasion.
