Prayer held for Zardari’s health

Adviser to the Prime Minister for National Harmony and All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA) Chairman Dr Paul Bhatti will hold a prayer service for the health of President Asif Ali Zardari at Khatoon-e-Fatima Church, Islamabad and all the other catholic churches across the country on Sunday. The prayer services will be held at catholic churches in Lahore, Raiwind, Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Hyderabad and Karachi Dioceses. Dr Paul Bhatti talked to the bishops of all the churches on the telephone for this purpose. He invited people from all walks of life to participate in the prayer service for the recovery of the health of the president. Dr Paul said APMA stood by the govt and appreciated its efforts for the welfare and socio-economic uplift of the minorities. He said the democratic system in the country has been strengthened due to the long struggle of PPP.
