Senior journalist Qayyum Nizami on Thursday demanded the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to hold a national workers convention on former PM and PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto’s fourth death anniversary to evaluate the federal and provincial government’s performance and discuss the party’s future.
He said that old PPP workers, who sacrificed for the party, should be invited to the convention to express their thoughts. Nizami said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and President Asif Ali Zardari should jointly chair the convention. The senior journalist said that party workers were not taken into confidence during the last three and half years due to which the federal government was facing crises and the party’s future was in danger.
