PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain assured Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani that PML-Q would not part ways with PPP and would work together with it for stability of the democratic system.
Chaudhry Shujaat and Chaudhry Parvez Elahi met Gilani and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari here on Friday and exchanged views on a set of issues, including the overall political situation of the country, future strategy for further strengthening relations between PML-Q and PPP and other matters of mutual interest.
According to sources, Chaudhry brothers inquired about the health of President Asif Ali Zardari from Bilawal Zardari, who told them that President Zardari was recovering fast and he would soon return home.
During the meeting PM Gilani informed Shujaat about the post-NATO strikes situation and the steps taken by the government on this count.
