Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders and activists from different districts have started reaching Larkana for their public meeting on Saturday (today) where party chief Nawaz Sharif will speak.
Leaders of the PML-N Sindh have left no stones unturned to make the rally a success.
It will be staged at a ground outside the Babu Sarfraz Jatoi House on the Airport Road that has a capacity to seat 25,000 people.
“We have also arranged 18,000 chairs for the rally. The people of Larkana city are very excited about listening to Nawaz Sharif,” PML-N Sindh leader Ismail Rahu told Pakistan Today on Friday.
PML-N’s central and provincial leaders, including Senator Pervaiz Rashid, Rana Mashaud, Ismail Rahu, Ghous Ali Shah, Saleem Zia, Imdad Choliani and Babu Sarfraz Jatoi, are already in Larkana.
“We were not supported by any political party for the public meeting. It is a sole show of the PML-N. An impression was given that the PML-N arranged this public meeting with the help of other political parties that oppose the Pakistan People’s Party and that is wrong,” Rahu added.
In another development, the Sindh People’s Students Federation (SPSF) Larkana staged a protest rally against Nawaz Sharif at Pakistani Chowk in Larkana city. The demonstration was led by SPSF district president Ghani Jatoi
