The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Punjab chapter on Wednesday directed all district bodies of the party to hold special prayers for early recovery of President Asif Ali Zardari, who is under treatment at Dubai. PPP Punjab Finance Secretary Aurangzeb Burki said that a ritual will be arranged for health of the PPP co-chairman, which would be attended by a large number of party workers and PPP Punjab office-bearers.
Burki urged people and PPP workers to pray for health and early recovery of Zardari, adding that an informal meeting of party office-bearers was held at his office, which was attended by PPP Punjab General Secretary Samiullah Khan and others to finalise the programme.
