Two young boys sexually assaulted an 11-year-old boy inside a madrassa located in Gujjarpura police precincts on Wednesday. The victim was later tortured by his teacher, who hit the boy with hot iron rods on several parts of his body. A case registered with Gujjarpura police states that the victim, Majid Ali resident of Bhogiwal, was studying in Ghoray Shah Madrassa located in Shah Bilal Area. On Tuesday, Majid was at Madrassa when two other students, Arif and Asif, found Majid being assaulted by two boys.
The culprits were named Muhammad Tajammul, a student, and Bao, a resident of the area. The FIR states that Asif and Arif captured Tajammul and Bao and came out of the madrassa to hand them over to the police. Meanwhile, the teacher, Irfan, came to know of the incident and instead of taking action against the two accused, he scolded and beat up Majid, advising him against telling his family of the occurrence.
After being informed, police arrested Tajammul and Bao, but Irfan managed to escape.
